Choosing Your Wedding Flowers

Flowers will make such a dramatic look at your upcoming wedding. Your guests are going to spend the most time in the reception area, so be sure it is full of style.

Many times a bride and groom will come into our office to discuss wedding flowers and have a list and pictures that they would like. Having a list is great, however you need to be open minded and trust your professionals to help you get the look that you will love.

Don’t be stuck on one idea of a color or flower type. Sometimes couples will come in and want to plan most of the decor around a blush colored peony and their wedding is in September.  Your designer can help you come up with many ideas. Just be flexible.

Always splurge on your bridal bouquet. It will not only be with you all day, it will be in many photos. When a bride and groom tell me they want to save some money where possible, I agree and let them know we absolutely can on items, just not this.

There are many styles for centerpieces.  Having a full look really changes the ambience for a guest table. Always be sure to include candles too.

Another  trend right now is having beautiful wooden farm style tables. A nice complement to this look is doing short centerpieces that are really full and lush. Have many small arrangements that go down the middle on a beautiful runner with lots of candles.

Keep in mind your venue. If you’re having an outdoor reception in a gorgeous garden, I would have full lush garden style centerpieces. If your reception is in a formal ballroom,  formality may be the way to go.

Brides and grooms are looking for someone to trust and rely on to plan and design their magical destination wedding.
