Surrounded by the dramatic mountain landscape of Little Cottonwood Canyon, this joyful wedding at Snowpine Lodge was a heartfelt celebration centered on family, meaningful traditions, and unforgettable moments. With every event held at the lodge, guests were able to settle into the mountains and enjoy the entire wedding weekend together in one beautiful location.
Snowpine Lodge provided a memorable setting for every part of the celebration. Located among the towering peaks and forests of Little Cottonwood Canyon, the lodge offered spectacular views while keeping each wedding event conveniently located in one place.
Guests gathered on the outdoor terrace surrounded by the mountains, creating a relaxed and intimate atmosphere from the moment they arrived. Hosting the full celebration at Snowpine Lodge allowed everyone to spend more time together without traveling between venues, turning the wedding into a complete mountain getaway.
The wedding design brought warmth and personality to the natural alpine setting. A clear-sided reception tent allowed guests to enjoy the surrounding scenery while creating a beautiful space for dinner and celebration.
Fresh greenery was woven throughout the tent’s wooden beams, accompanied by softly glowing string lights and woven pendant lanterns. The natural textures complemented the lodge and canyon landscape while giving the reception an inviting, garden-inspired feel.
Wooden tables and cross-back chairs were paired with white linens, green glassware, and colorful floral arrangements. Flowers in shades of peach, pink, yellow, blue, and ivory filled the tables, bringing cheerful and romantic energy to the space. The design felt elevated without taking attention away from the incredible mountain views outside.
Family was at the heart of the entire wedding day. The bride shared joyful moments with her parents and loved ones while getting ready, including plenty of laughter as the final details of her gown were carefully secured.
Wearing a timeless strapless wedding dress and carrying a vibrant bouquet of seasonal flowers, the bride looked radiant against the sweeping Little Cottonwood Canyon backdrop. Her colorful bouquet beautifully connected her bridal look with the floral design used throughout the celebration.
The reception continued the emotional tone of the day with meaningful speeches from family and friends. Guests laughed, cried, and celebrated alongside the couple as loved ones shared stories and well wishes. These heartfelt moments made the dinner feel personal and intimate, even within the larger celebration.
One of the most special details of the wedding was the vintage skier cake topper. The same topper had previously been used at the weddings of the bride’s parents and her sister, making it a cherished family tradition.
Featuring a bride and groom on skis, the heirloom was especially fitting for a wedding held in the mountains of Little Cottonwood Canyon. Placed atop the couple’s classic white wedding cake, it connected generations of family celebrations while adding a playful detail that felt perfectly suited to Snowpine Lodge.
The reception quickly turned into an energetic celebration as guests gathered on the dance floor for a lively hora. The bride and groom were lifted into the air in their chairs while family and friends danced around them, creating one of the most joyful and memorable moments of the evening.
