Park City Wedding Planner: Whimsical Deer Valley Rustic Luxury Wedding
This fall we had the pleasure of taking care of one our local families here in Park City. Our beautiful bride grew up here in this magical mountain town. After moving to California, she decided to return to Park City to celebrate this very special day. Many of our bride and grooms guests came into town from California to celebrate our couple.
Their special weekend started out at the Zoom Restaurant on Main Street for their rehearsal dinner. For their out of town guests, it was a perfect introduction to historical Park City. The building itself was formerly used as a Union Pacific Railroad station, and spent nearly a century as a train depot. It was later purchased by actor Robert Redford, and designed to preserve the best of its history while providing the wonderful tastes of today for them and their guests.
On the morning of their wedding our girls had their last girl’s party. With a little bubbly to celebrate, they were pampered in their matching robes while their hair and makeup were flawlessly done. It was a lovely start to such a sentimental and glamorous occasion.
Before the ceremony began, string musicians began playing classical music as the guests arrived. The delightful melodies set the tone for the occasion. One could feel the romance flowing through the sounds of the instruments.
These lovely ladies all dressed in different bridesmaid’s dresses with a color palette that was perfect for their rustic mountain Utah wedding. Like the color contrast of the fall leaves, a landscape of natural beauty and bursting love was reflected in our bridal party.
The fall colors in October were a great natural addition to this outdoor ceremony. The colors are incredible in the fall here in Park City Deer Valley area. The beauty of the fresh natural scenery inspired the feelings of the occasion – the newness and love of our two newlyweds beginning their life together.
Our couple had Farm Tables brought in for the reception to complete the romantic mountain rustic theme. Our bride and groom really wanted a romantic cozy family dinner service. The reception room was filled with candles and flowers that included ranunculus, roses and greenery. The simplicity and elegance of the eggshell colored table runners were the perfect linen addition to the tables.
Fireside dinner is what was on the menu for our couple. The venue had several fireplaces, each with its own special fire cooking unique gourmet foods. The ambience of warmth, coziness and family could be felt throughout, especially with this addition to their evening meal.
Rustic centerpieces displaying subtle hues of fall colors added to the romance and whimsy of the occasion. They perfectly dressed the tables, providing an air of elegance to the rugged natural beauty of the mountains.
Dessert was an elegant two-tier cake accompanied by a variety of fireside melted chocolate fondues for dessert. While staying true to the simplicity of their rustic theme, their dessert presentation added a touch of glamour to the night.
Candle light always makes a room feel romantic and cozy. The ambient light warmed up the evening and completed the look of the reception.
