◂ What makes Park City the ideal destination for a summer wedding? ▸

Park City is the optimal location for all of the events that our couples want to do for their entire wedding weekend. There are so many outdoors activities to enjoy: hiking, golfing, bike riding, and even luxurious spas for those who are looking for a more relaxed getaway. Many of my couples also like to mix it up and take in the wonderful Main Street. Whether it’s for a rehearsal dinner or a welcome party, or even for the main event. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, one of my couple’s events will end up being on the historic Main Street.

There is a lot to offer on Main Street, such as multiple venues where you can enjoy complimentary live music that creates the perfect atmosphere. There are upscale saloons with fantastic dining options, and upscale restaurants that provide sensational menus. In truth, there is plenty to do that can entertain a wedding party or couple for several days.

◂ Summer Activities ▸

Park City hosts multiple activities that are available year round, but there are also some that are only accessible during the summer months. There are numerous summer concerts at the ski resorts, as well as some in Deer Valley, and many are complimentary. Guests can bring a cooler with wine and snacks to enjoy the concert right on the ski mountain.

You can also take a bike up the ski lifts, and ride all the way down the mountain. One thing that my couples especially love doing is to take the ski lifts up and take their wedding photos, or their First Look photos on the top of the mountain. The mountains provide picturesque views for any outdoor activities, including mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, and ATVs. It is also a wonderful location for boating and fly fishing. Plenty of visitors enjoy rafting down the beautiful rivers, or wading through the calming lakes with paddleboards.

Some groups will like to go to Park Silly. It is a Farmer’s Market hosted on Sundays, but provides much more than farmer’s wares. It is only available summer time because of the weather, and it is a great way to finish up your wedding weekend.

There are multiple golf courses in the city, and in neighboring Deer Valley, that attract visitors during the warmer months. The most popular among them being Canyons and Park Meadows, which both provide fantastic views of the mountain range and levels of difficultly on their courses.

For more relaxed activities, there are multiple world class spas to choose from. Couples and groups can treat themselves to the various wellness centers, steam rooms, lounges, tranquil spas, and massages with the highest service standards.

◂ Dining and Entertainment ▸

Our couples are used to the finer things, which includes very good food. Great breweries and restaurants are easy to find in Park City. Riverhorse on Main is an award winning restaurant that attracts many visitors to the city. It is one of the oldest and most favored restaurants on Main Street, and provides a divine rotating menu. It is located on the historic Main Street, and is just one of the exquisite destinations to choose from.

We also have the High West Distillery and Saloon for the whiskey lovers. It is located right outside the city, which offers the perfect event space for groups looking for a unique, western experience. Guests can take a tour of their working distillery, or can have a drink at their bar, as well as experience their delicious menu.

◂ Resorts and Accommodations▸

Park City has a lot to offer from exquisite resorts to luxurious Airbnbs. You’ll easily be able to find the perfect accommodations for everyone in your wedding group. Whether it be luxurious wedding suites, Five Star resorts or upscale rooms, Park City hosts some of the finer resorts in the area. Stein Eriksen Lodge alone can provide a wedding party with everything they could require for a destination wedding.

The resorts have spacious and beautifully decorated rooms, as well as Five Star services, concierge, pools, spas, restaurants, and private balconies. The Airbnbs in the area as also wonderful properties, with some being located close to the activity centers of the city. Whether your wedding party is large or small, it is easy to find the perfect accommodations for both the couple and their guests.

◂ Convenience ▸

Convenience is another factor that puts Park City above the rest. As opposed to other popular destinations, not only does Park City offer everything a couple could want, but it also extremely easy to get to. My couples love Park City for the convenience of being able to jump into a car or Uber, and that they’ll be on the ski mountain within the hour. That truly is a big difference compared to other areas for summer destination weddings.

Not only is everything you could want located in short distances, but the mountain summer weather is perfect. During the summer, Park City is 10 degrees cooler than Salt Lake City and the weather is wonderful. It is warm and peaceful, and there is little need to worry about planning ceremonies or activities around the hottest times of the day.
